Why this role matters
As our
Customer Success Lead
, you'll be the go-to expert ensuring each family's insurance coverage is understood and secured—
before
care begins. Your work removes friction for parents, prevents delays in treatment, and keeps our clinical teams focused on what matters most: helping kids thrive.
What you'll do
- Own the insurance process
for new and returning patients: verify benefits, identify coverage limits/clauses, and secure
authorizations/pre-certifications
on time. - Document accurately
: capture all insurance details, effective dates, and support notes to justify actions taken on charges or referrals. - Educate families
: explain coverage, authorizations, and next steps in a clear, professional, and empathetic manner (English & Spanish). - Keep our systems clean
: set correct coverage, authorization units/status, and updates in the practice's main system. - Support onboarding & billing
: collect patient onboarding documentation and assist with billing workflows. - Problem-solve proactively
: flag discrepancies, pre-existing condition clauses, and missing referrals; drive them to resolution. - Collaborate
: partner closely with scheduling, billing, and clinical teams to ensure a smooth experience from intake to ongoing care. - Pitch in
on related tasks as needed.
What you'll bring
Must-haves
- Bachelor's degree
(Business Administration or related administrative field—
only
these will be considered). - 3+ years
of experience in
Operations/Administrative
roles (internships do
not
count toward this requirement). - Bilingual (English/Spanish)
with excellent written and verbal communication. - Proven attention to detail, ownership mindset, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in a
medical office
or health insurance environment. - Medical terminology
knowledge.
Work setup & schedule
- 100% remote
from Quito, with
one in-person coworking day per month
in Quito. - 40 hours/week
